Nuha Samara-Saidawi
Palestinian from Tulkarem, lived through the Lebanese civil war. This was greatly reflected in her work as well as issues of the Palestinian resistance. Her stories reflect the feeling of abandonment: women abandoned by men, thus left unprepared, men abandoned by men and left to fight the civil war, men abandoned by the world and left with no homeland. The stories always take a twist of optimism and the reader is left to think of positive, new changes for the future.
Published a book called the Arab Woman - An Optimistic View.
